Authologic, the trust infrastructure platform for regulated businesses verifying and authenticating users, has been registered as a Trust Service Provider to issue Electronic Attestations of Attributes (EAAs): cryptographically signed credentials that enable people and organisations to share verified attributes through EU Digital Identity Wallets.
The registration, granted by Narodowy Bank Polski, makes Authologic the first company in Poland and one of the first providers in Europe registered to issue EAAs. The milestone positions Authologic to support regulated businesses as Europe transitions from traditional forms of identity verification towards wallet-based digital credentials, amid a series of significant digital identity regulatory deadlines.
The capability is live today. Businesses can use Authologic to issue and verify EAAs. They can also test EAA issuance and verification through Authologic’s European Digital Identity (EUDI) Playground.
Under eIDAS 2.0, all 27 EU Member States are required to make at least one European Digital Identity Wallet available from December 2026. The EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (EU AMLR), effective from July 2027, will further increase the role of electronic identification in customer verification.
Together, these milestones mark a shift in how identity will be established and shared across Europe, creating growing pressure for regulated businesses to prepare for the issuance and acceptance of trusted digital credentials.
