Inside AIMCONNECT 2026: The topics driving automotive’s AI conversation

AIMCONNECT 2026 has set out its programme, giving a first look at the themes that will run through the day. Built around two keynotes and three panel discussions, the agenda spans automotive finance, vehicle retail, electric mobility and cloud AI, and keeps returning to one question: as AI works its way into every stage of a car deal, what changes for the businesses and consumers on either side of it?

For most of its history the car business has been built around the vehicle. The conversation is now moving to everything that surrounds it, the way people find a car, weigh their options, arrange finance and complete a purchase across online and offline touchpoints. AI sits at the centre of that change, and it is starting to join up parts of the journey that have long run on separate systems and separate pools of data.

AIMCONNECT 2026 is built to host that discussion, and its programme shows where the day will focus.

The keynotes that open the day

Two keynotes set the tone. The first heads to the frontier of physical AI and mobility, where AI steps off the screen and into the vehicles and movement of the physical world. The second, delivered by one of the event’s hosts, sets out a view of the mobility ecosystem that fuels the future, and how the different players in automotive commerce can work as a connected whole rather than a set of separate businesses.

Three panels, three views of the same shift

The programme then turns to three panel discussions, each taking a different angle on how AI is changing mobility.

The Future of Owning a Car opens by asking whether ownership still makes sense when flexible alternatives are within reach, what leads customers to choose one vehicle over another, and how autonomous driving and new business models could change the value people place on owning a car at all. It closes on a practical question for the industry: what companies should do differently, and where AI genuinely helps.

How is AI Reshaping Mobility brings together senior leaders from across marketing technology, AI and mobility. The discussion looks at how AI is changing customer engagement, the move between online and offline journeys, everyday operations and the next phase of automotive innovation.

Building the Future Mobility Ecosystem steps back to the whole value chain. It asks what the customer is really trying to achieve and where the experience becomes harder than it needs to be, how each stakeholder can contribute its own expertise while giving customers a smoother path, and where a more connected approach would create the most value.

What the audience can expect

Beyond the panels, AIMCONNECT puts the technology to work in front of the audience. Attendees can expect live demonstrations, including a walk-through of Agentic AI taking a financing application through autonomous decisioning step by step, with human review and compliance built into the flow. Also on the floor is a showcase of an AI-empowered live-streamed car sale and financing transaction, a look at where higher-value automotive retail may be heading as livestream commerce reaches categories it once skipped.

The wider draw is the room itself. AIMCONNECT brings dealers, manufacturers, financiers, technology providers and decision makers into one place, a mix that rarely shares a stage, to discuss what’s next in the mobility ecosystem.

AIMCONNECT 2026 will take place on 11 October at Shangri-La Sentosa, Singapore. As AI keeps moving through automotive commerce, events like this give the industry a chance to compare notes in the open. The line-up of topics alone signals how much of that conversation is now ready to be had.
