TBC Uzbekistan Expands TBC Business Offering, Launches Secured Lending for SMEs

TBC Uzbekistan, Central Asia’s leading digital financial ecosystem and part of London-listed TBC Bank Group, today announces the launch of its first secured lending product for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), unlocking the capital needed to support their growth.

Part of TBC Business, Uzbekistan’s first fully-digital business banking solution, the new product enables SMEs to access secured loans up to a maximum amount of 12 billion Uzbek Soum (~USD 1 million). It comes amid growing consumer demand, with more than 30,000 SMEs registering with the platform since inception. Through its seamless digital model, TBC Business provides flexible collateral terms and a grace period of up to 12 months. Working capital loans are available for up to 36 months, while financing for investment products is available for up to 120 months.

Since launching as a web-based service in December 2024, TBC Business has expanded significantly, launching a dedicated mobile app and raising its maximum unsecured loans from 300 million Uzbek Soum (~USD 25,000) to 600 million Uzbek Soum (~USD 50,000). Earlier this year TBC also rolled out a payroll product that enables companies to pay their employees digitally at any time, including holidays and weekends, as well as QR-code payment functionality.

Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, said: “As businesses grow, entrepreneurs need access to larger loans to help them scale their business and fund longer-term projects, such as expanding production or purchasing equipment and commercial real estate. This new product was built to meet exactly that demand, giving businesses access to the financing needed to reach these larger-scale goals, all while keeping the same simple, fully digital customer journey that defines our products. This ultimately enables business owners to focus on what matters most: growing their companies.”

As part of its vision to build the leading two-sided ecosystem for businesses and consumers, TBC Uzbekistan further strengthened its TBC Business offering via the acquisition of a majority stake in BILLZ in June 2025. BILLZ, Uzbekistan’s leading retail management SaaS platform, added new capabilities to TBC Business, positioning it as the leading one-stop-shop for businesses to handle all their financial and operational needs.

In addition to expanding its product range, TBC Uzbekistan is investing in supporting the development of entrepreneurs in the country. It has launched several initiatives, including an educational program in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which provides free practical training sessions to help entrepreneurs broaden their knowledge and strengthen their management skills.
