A category for every kind of innovation

The awards feature a broad range of categories to reflect the diversity and depth of the fintech ecosystem. Whether you are building in payments, compliance, data, lending, personal finance or wealth management, there is a place for your story.

Categories such as FinTech of the Year, Startup of the Year, PayTech of the Year, Team of the Year and RegTech of the Year highlight excellence across high-growth and core areas of the industry.

There are also valuable opportunities to showcase innovation in areas like Accounting Tech, Investment Tech, WealthTech, Web3 and the Crypto Award, as well as talent-focused categories including Young Achiever of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year and Director of the Year. These ensure that outstanding individuals are recognised alongside standout products and teams.

No matter which category you enter, your submission is your chance to make a lasting impression. And with just one opportunity to capture the judges’ attention, it is worth making it count.

How to write a strong entry

You do not need to overcomplicate it. The best entries are clear, focused and backed by real results.

Here are a few proven tips to help your submission stand out:

  • Answer the brief
Each category has specific criteria. Respond directly to those points and avoid generic company overviews unless they clearly support your case. Tailor your entry to the story you are telling.
  • Back it up with evidence
Submissions are strongest when claims are supported with facts. Use data, growth milestones, team impact, client results or innovation metrics to show the difference your organisation is making.
  • Focus on recent achievements
Judges want to see what you have done in the last 12 to 18 months. Highlight progress, improvements or results from this timeframe to keep your entry relevant and timely.
  • Keep it clear and structured
Make your submission easy to read. Use short paragraphs, subheadings and concise language so the judges can quickly understand your impact.
  • Be authentic
Avoid overly polished sales language. Judges value honesty, substance and clarity. Write in your own voice and let your work speak for itself.

What happens if you miss it?

We understand fintechs are busy building, scaling and delivering results. But not entering could mean missing a vital opportunity to shape how your business is seen, remembered and talked about in the market.

In an industry driven by trust, visibility and momentum, now is the time to put your name forward.

The entry deadline is 6 March 2026
