The Europe FinTech Awards 2026 took place on 25 June at One Moorgate Place in London, recognising the innovators, leaders and disruptors powering financial technology across Europe.
Bringing together finalists from more than a dozen countries, the ceremony celebrated achievements across 21 categories, spanning paytech, regtech, lending, wealth management, crypto, data, and beyond. The night reflected the strength, diversity and creativity that define Europe’s thriving fintech sector.
Among the standout winners were Featurespace, which claimed FinTech of the Year and Banking Tech of the Year, and Brite Payments, recognised in both the Director of the Year and Best Open Banking Initiative categories.
Winners were selected by an independent panel of industry experts, chaired by Sarah Young, partner at international law firm Osborne Clarke. Entries were judged against strict category criteria, ensuring a credible and transparent assessment process that recognises meaningful impact and innovation.
With more than 150 organisations shortlisted, this year’s awards showcased fintech’s role as a driver of economic growth, financial inclusion and digital transformation across Europe. Every finalist brought forward-thinking, customer-centric solutions — helping push the sector forward in new and exciting ways.
