The UK FinTech Awards 2026, in association with Lockton, has officially unveiled this year’s shortlist, recognising the organisations and individuals delivering innovation, impact and excellence across the UK fintech sector.
Run by FinTech Intel, the awards celebrate the achievements of fintech companies and leaders shaping the future of financial services. Now in its latest edition, the programme continues to highlight the breadth of talent across the ecosystem, from emerging startups and scale-ups to established institutions and service providers.
This year’s shortlist reflects a strong range of entries from across the UK, with submissions spanning banking, payments, lending, wealth, regtech and digital assets. Together, they showcase the organisations and individuals driving meaningful progress across financial services.
All entries were carefully reviewed and scored by an independent panel of expert judges, including Megan Cooper, Diya Patel, Dr Larisa Yarovaya, Janine Hirt, Polly Tsang, Chantal Swainston, Emma Banymandhub, Sarah Kocianski, Madush Gupta, Colin Payne, Esra Kasapoglu and Luke Sculthorp, ensuring a robust and credible selection process.

The awards programme spans a wide range of categories, covering product and service innovation, organisational excellence and individual achievement, recognising those setting the standard across the industry.
The winners will be announced at the UK FinTech Awards ceremony on 23 April 2026 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel St Paul’s in London, where the fintech community will come together for an evening of celebration, recognition and connection.
