Moolahgo partners with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan

The partnership will facilitate social security contribution payments for Indonesian migrant workers

Moolahgo, a leading multi-currency digital payments organisation based in Singapore, proudly announces its partnership with The Social Security Agency for Employment in Indonesia-known as BPJS Ketenagakerjaan-to facilitate seamless employment social security contribution payments for Indonesian migrant workers.

“BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is an institution officially appointed by the Indonesian government to administer social security to Indonesian migrant workers. BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is a social safety net for Indonesian migrant workers so that they do not fall into poverty due to employment injury, death or old age,” said BPJS Ketenagakerjaan director of participation Mr. Zainudin.

With this collaboration, Moolahgo allows Indonesians living and working abroad to conveniently pay for their BPJS Ketenagakerjaan contributions through the MoolahPay e-Wallet App, ensuring their social security coverage provided by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

As of the end of 2023, there are an estimated 130,000 Indonesian migrant workers in Singapore contributing to the nation’s economy.

“The Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Singapore welcomes and has facilitated this new solution for BPJS Ketenagakerjaan payment provided by Moolahgo in collaboration with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Safeguarding the well-being of overseas Indonesian workers is one of the top priorities for the embassy, and Moolahgo’s BPJS Ketenagakerjaan payment solution helps us in fulfilling our commitments,” expressed Tantri Darmastuti, the labour official of KBRI.

MoolahPay, already a preferred App among migrant workers, particularly Indonesians in Singapore for remittance purposes, solidifies its reputation as a trailblazing e-Wallet App. Having pioneered instant transfers to major Indonesian e-Wallets in 2021 and real-time transfers to bank accounts in 2022 with just a phone number or email address, the addition of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan payments further positions Moolahgo as an innovative leader in Singapore’s e-Wallet landscape. To access the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan services, users can download and sign up for Moolahgo’s e-Wallet App “MoolahPay” from the Google Playstore or Apple App Store, top up their wallets, and access the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan menu. By entering their BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Membership Number or Indonesian Identity Number, the App will perform validation and display outstanding premiums, with real-time payment to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
