The former PayPal executive will lead global product strategy as ClearBank expands into new markets and sectors

ClearBank has appointed Spiros Theodossiou as its new chief product officer.

Spiros will lead the UK-based business bank and embedded banking provider’s global product strategy, work with teams to develop and maintain its capabilities, and play a key role in innovation.

ClearBank, founded in 2015, is looking to expand after it achieved profitability last year, as revenues reached £45m.

With more than 20 years of experience, Spiros previously worked as chief product officer at cloud accounting platform DEXT. Before this, he was senior vice president of product management at WorldPay, and he has also held senior roles at PayPal.
