Sandip Sen will oversee DKK’s international expansion as it prepares to announce further office openings in Africa and the Middle East
DKK Partners, an emerging markets liquidity provider, has appointed former Citi managing director Sandip Sen as board adviser to accelerate its global growth.
Sen, who worked at Citi for almost three decades, will oversee DKK’s international expansion, and help develop the company’s FX capabilities and services in emerging markets.
Sen will also provide strategic direction to the DKK management team as it prepares to announce further office openings across Africa and the Middle East, in addition to its London, UK headquarters.
DKK recently opened a hub in Ghana to serve the flourishing African market, led by Sam Nti, who joined the company as director.
On Sen’s appointment, Khalid Talukder, co-founder of DKK Partners, said: “Following a period of sustained rapid growth, the time is right for DKK to invest in top tier talent to take our business to the next level.
“Sandip has the experience, tenacity and market knowledge to enable us to continue our high growth trajectory.”
Sen added: “The team have proven that it is possible to deliver exceptional growth whilst making substantial contributions to charitable causes and giving something back.
“The company sets the standard in the frontier currency space, and I’m very excited to join the team and help the business reach its full potential.”
DKK was founded in 2020 by Khalid Talukder, previously of UBS, Citi and Deutsche Bank, and Dominic Duru of RBS and Citi.
