Kuriakose joins from Meta, where she was the product director for Messenger

SumUp has appointed Anna Kuriakose to develop and add new payment products to its growing portfolio. 

Kuriakose joins as chief product officer from Meta, where she was the product director for Messenger on Windows and Mac and web-based video calling. 

Prior to Meta, she held chief product officer roles at JustGiving and TotallyMoney, and was early product manager at Skype. 

Kuriakose joins a UK-headquartered fintech that was founded in 2012 and supplies more than 4m businesses in 35 countries with its payment solutions, including a business account, an online store and invoicing. 

In the last few years, SumUp expanded into POS solutions, with the acquisitions of Goodtill, Tiller and Fivestars.

Commenting on joining SumUp, Kuriakose said: “SumUp has already established an impressive portfolio of products, ranging from payments to banking and loyalty, and is set to become the ultimate ‘Super App’ for merchants.
