The Awards’ 6th year will be celebrated in London in partnership with Lockton

The UK FinTech Awards, the UK’s premier fintech event, has announced that Lockton will be its headline partner in 2025.

Returning for the sixth year, the UK FinTech Awards celebrate the best and brightest of the UK fintech ecosystem. The awards recognise those companies and individuals who are changing the landscape and disrupting the status quo.

Lockton’s private ownership empowers its 11,700+ associates doing business in over 140 countries to focus solely on clients’ risk, insurance and people needs.

Robert Welbourn, editor at FinTech Intel, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Lockton, the world’s largest independent and privately held insurance brokerage.

“We’re honoured to have such a prestigious company as partners. The awards continue to grow year on year, and partnering with Lockton shows this.”

With over 20 categories to enter, the awards honour a range of specialisms and disciplines. There are categories for both companies and individuals; company categories range from Paytech of the Year to Lendtech of the Year, from Team of the Year to Best ESG Campaign. Individual awards include Director of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, and Young Achiever of the Year.

Including all of last year’s categories returning for 2025, there’s also a new category: Proptech of the Year! This category celebrates the best companies in the Proptech space. You can read more about the new category here.

The 2024 awards saw over a hundred companies submit nominations, with Volt taking home the big one: FinTech of the Year. You can see the full rundown of winners on the site.
