Ahikam Finkel Sharegain to scale its existing R&D capabilities and turn the fintech into a global capital markets “powerhouse” for innovation

Sharegain, a securities lending fintech, has appointed Ahikam Finkel as vice president of research and development (R&D). 

Finkel joins from Israel unicorn Appsflyer, a mobile advertising attribution company. 

He joins Sharegain to scale its existing R&D capabilities and turn the fintech into a global capital markets “powerhouse” for innovation.  

At Appsflyer, Finkel managed the R&D process as the company grew from 70 to over 400 engineers.

On his new role, Finkel commented: “I am proud to be part of Sharegain’s mission to democratise securities lending and look forward to be part of the company’s senior leadership team and steer our continued upward trajectory.” 

He added: “I have been highly impressed by Sharegain’s R&D capabilities and unique product, and I am excited to collaborate with its existing—and future—talent and experts.” 

On Finkel’s appointment, Boaz Yaari, chief executive officer and founder of Sharegain, said: “He brings a depth of knowledge and expertise in scaling and managing global R&D teams at scale.  

“I have no doubt Ahikam will have a major impact in Sharegain, as we continue to grow globally and work tirelessly to level the playing field in capital markets.” 

The fintech recently hired Samuel Tuliebitz as head of business development.
